走可持续发展之路① 创造机遇普惠共赢（中英文）

联合国2030可持续发展目标

发展，是人类社会不断进步的永恒主题。

Development is the eternal theme underpinning constant human progress.

1972年，可持续发展概念被首次提出，这种注重长远发展的经济增长模式引起各方关注。

In 1972, the concept of sustainable development was first proposed. Such an economic growth model highlighting long-term development has since drawn wide attention.

1987年，世界环境与发展委员会将其定义为“既满足当代人的需要，又不对后代人满足其需要的能力构成危害的发展”，这一定义被广泛接受。

In 1987, the World Commission on Environment and Development defined sustainable development as “the kind of development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. Such a definition has been extensively accepted.

2016年1月，联合国开发计划署可持续发展顾问委员会成立

2015年，17个可持续发展目标在联合国发展峰会上通过，明确提出从2015年到2030年间要以综合方式彻底解决经济、社会和环境三个维度的发展问题，转向可持续发展道路。

In 2015, 17 sustainable development goals were adopted at the UN Development Summit. It was made clear that from 2015 to 2030, comprehensive approaches should be taken to cope with development issues in economy, society and environment, and gear the world onto a path of sustainable development.

当前，面对“百年未有之大变局”，习近平主席强调国际合作和可持续发展的重要性。从2013年至今，共建“一带一路”已成为各国合作发展的重要平台，为世界经济可持续发展提供着源源不断的磅礴动力。

Today, facing the “major changes unseen in a century”, President Xi Jinping stresses the importance of international cooperation and sustainable development. Since 2013, co-building the B&R has become an important platform for international cooperation and development, and served as a sustained force driving sustainable development of the world economy.

“一带一路”践行6年间，公路、铁路、机场、港口、发电厂、电信等一大批关键领域的基础设施建设，成为助推沿线国家经济发展的加速器；

Over the six years since the B&R Initiative was launched, a host of infrastructure projects, such as highway, railway, airport, port, power plant, and telecommunication, have been built to propel economic development in countries along the route.

亚投行、丝路基金等融资平台持续发力，为沿线国家“一带一路”项目可持续发展提供强大助力；

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Silk Road Fund and other financing platforms have shown constant force driving the sustainable development of B&R projects in countries along the route.

文化、教育、卫生、扶贫等民生项目，让沿线国家的普通民众有了明显的参与感、获得感和幸福感；

Culture, education, health, poverty reduction and other livelihood projects have enabled an obvious sense of participation, gain and happiness among general public in B&R countries;

绿色、低碳、循环、环保等关键词，已成为中国践行绿色“一带一路”最生动的符号。

Green, low-carbon, circular, environmental protection and other key words have become the most vivid symbols showcasing China’s practices in building a green Belt and Road.

东北老工业基地本溪转型发展

“中国将自身发展寓于全球发展，在同各国良性互动中实现普惠共赢，将不断为世界经济提供市场、添加动力、创造机遇。”这是中国的责任与担当，也是世界的赞誉与期冀。

“China will make its own development part of global development, work to realize universal win-win through sound interaction with other countries, and constantly offer market, add driving force and create opportunities for world economy.” This shows China’s sense of responsibility, and also the praise and expectation of the world.

“一带一路”上，中国将与沿线国家携手并进，坚定不移地走可持续发展之路，持续不断地推动经济、社会、生态可持续发展。

Along the B&R, China will join hands with countries along the route to remain committed to a path of sustainable development, and make sustained efforts to promote sustainable development in economy, society and ecology.

“一带一路”上，愿景可期，未来可期！

We envision a better future along the B&R.
